Pattaya Update:

Despite heavy online rumors and gossip, Pattaya police have clarified that the unidentified foreigner involved in a recent viral brawl with Soi 6 guards was not seriously injured, in a coma, or deceased. Police have released CCTV footage showing the group walking back to their hotel after the incident.

The individuals involved have not filed any police reports or complaints and declined medical assistance, according to Pattaya Police. This announcement comes after widespread online speculation regarding the condition of the foreigners, particularly one who was kicked in the head by a contracted security guard for an independent group of bars. Although the guards have apologized, they have not been officially charged, as the other party has not filed any legal complaints. Police need statements from the group to proceed legally.

The footage shows three foreign men crossing a Pattaya street at dusk, wearing the same clothing seen in the viral fight video. Observant viewers noted that one man’s shirt appears torn.

Pattaya police have reiterated their efforts to contact the men involved for statements, even if they do not wish to file an official complaint, to understand their version of events.

The Pattaya News will continue to provide updates on this and other stories.
