In Pattaya, a sizable python measuring over 3 meters long was apprehended by rescue workers on Sunday, May 12th. This serpent was discovered nestled within a fence wall at a rental property on Soi Khao Ta Lo 16/1 in the Nongprue sub-district, Banglamung district, Chonburi province. Concerned residents promptly sought assistance upon spotting the snake slithering about the premises.

Responding swiftly to the call, rescue personnel from the Nongprue Municipality’s Disaster Relief Unit hurried to the location equipped with snake handling gear. Upon arrival, they located the python coiled beneath a stack of wood. With precision and caution, the rescue team removed the woodpile, employing specialized tools to secure the snake’s head and extract it from its concealment. The operation was executed efficiently and without incident.

Subsequently, the python was released into a safe wilderness area, far removed from human settlements.

Mr. Paiwal Chaiphiram, 44, a resident of the locality, recounted to Pattaya News that he and his companions were outdoors when they noticed a sinuous form gliding past. Initially mistaken for a scincoid lizard, closer inspection revealed the true identity of the visitor—a substantial python. With the serpent nearing their dwelling, they swiftly retreated indoors and summoned assistance.
