More Than 100 Tourists Flee Fire at Luxury Condo in Pattaya, No Major Injuries
On 16 March, 2024, a fire broke out around midday in apartment 11N of the noted and expensive condominium the ‘Edge,’ situated in the very centre of Pattaya. Fortunately, smoke caused only two people to have swallowing problems and no one else got hurt.

As a condo housekeeper who wishes to remain unknown reported, the fire purportedly arose in the dorm room`158 A in the 11th floor, which was empty at the time of the fire. From the blows of an air compressor in the room a spark flew out blazing up flames igniting the panic of occupants.
Also, the residents said that every time there was a fire alarm ringing, people were rushing, the hallways are echoing, and it can be smelled the burning materials from the fire. Condo employees and maintenances were highly described for their organized efforts including the assistance with the evacuation and fulfilling security protocols.
