Deputy PM Anutin Undergoes Treatment for Irregular Heartbeat, Plans Lifestyle Changes

On May 27th, 2024, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, announced that his demanding work schedule and lifestyle have negatively impacted his health. He revealed that he has been diagnosed with arrhythmia, specifically Supraventricular Tachycardia (SVT), which leads to an irregular heartbeat. To address this, doctors conducted a thorough examination and performed electric cardioversion to restore a normal heart rhythm.

Anutin confirmed that his health is now improving. However, he acknowledged that he has been lacking exercise and sufficient sleep, primarily due to excessive time spent on his phone. Moving forward, he plans to prioritize sleep and better manage his life and work schedule. Initially, Anutin feared a more severe heart condition, but the physicians diagnosed him with arrhythmia and advised him to get plenty of rest and avoid excessive stress.
