China Takes Top Spot for Thailand’s Tourist Arrivals

In addition, Chinese tourists have held the leading position in the number of international tourists arriving in Thailand as indicated in the PBTA report on the amount of tourist arrivals.

Ms. Malika pointed out that as one of the top five most frequently visited by Thai nationals, Chonburi has a chance of becoming a worldwide tourist attraction. Almost 1.2 million people from inside the country visited the province and so the province of Ayutthaya was behind only Bangkok, Krabi, Kanchanaburi, and Mu Koh Samui.
